The five-passenger base Rogue S model has a six-way manual driver’s seat and a four-way manual front passenger seat. The 60/40 split-folding rear seat offers multiple cargo/passenger configurations. Premium cloth upholstery comes standard. The HVAC system uses an in-cabin micro filter to clean the air and rear vents to circulate the air.
Power windows and doors provide simple operation, and the driver’s window has a one-touch automatic up/down feature for added convenience. You also get a remote keyless entry with a push-button start system that gets you inside and your Rogue engine running with the key fob in your pocket.
The cabin has one 12-volt DC power outlet along with USB-A and USB-C ports to keep your devices connected and charged. All your infotainment runs through an 8-inch color touch screen powered by the NissanConnect system. Nissan integrated Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth systems, enabling cellphone synchronization.
And Nissan’s voice recognition software lets you access your favorite apps, make calls, answer texts, and stream your favorite music with intuitive voice commands. A four-speaker audio system comes standard with a free trial subscription to SiriusXM satellite radio.
With 41.5 inches of front legroom and 38.5 inches of rear legroom, even taller passengers can stretch comfortably. If you need to haul gear instead of passengers, you have 36.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats upright. Folding the back seat flat opens up 74.1 cubic feet.
2023 Nissan Rogue SV
The Rogue SV has all the features of the Rogue S plus a few notable upgrades. For example, you now have an eight-way power-adjustable driver’s seat with two-way power lumbar support. In addition, SV models come standard with premium cloth upholstery, but you can upgrade to Prima-Tex or TailorFit leatherette materials. Other available comfort options include a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel and heated front seats.
SV models have a dual-zone automatic climate control system that allows the driver and front passenger to set their separate temperature zones. More standard convenience features include the Nissan Intelligent Key system with a push-button start. This enables remote starting and climate control activation from outside the vehicle.
You now have two USB-A and USB-C ports and a six-speaker audio system. In addition, the Rogue SV comes standard with Wi-Fi hotspot capability that connects multiple devices. And you get a free trial of NissanConnect Services’ five-year Select and six-month Premium packages.
2023 Nissan Rogue SL
Moving to the Rogue SL trim, you have more standard features, such as a four-way power-adjustable front passenger seat and a memory system for the driver’s seat and outside mirrors. Your upholstery upgrades to leather-appointed seats that heat for comfort, and the heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel comes standard.
SL models have the option for a tri-zone climate control system to let rear passengers set their temperature zone separate from the front two zones. You also get an auto-dimming rearview mirror and outside mirrors with a reverse tilt-down feature. The SL cargo area now has Nissan’s Divide-N-Hide cargo system that lets you store smaller items away from prying eyes. And you can access the rear cargo hold with a power-operated liftgate.
Buyers can opt for a 9-inch color touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay integration, Alexa built-in, a Bose premium audio system, and the Nissan Door to Door Navigation system.
2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum
Nissan Rogue’s top-of-the-range Platinum trim builds off the SL features. You get quilted semi-aniline leather-appointed seats standard and the option to add heat to the rear outboard seats. And you can remotely fold the back seat. The liftgate adds a hands-free sensor to open and a push-button to close. Interior accent lighting comes standard, along with a dual panoramic moonroof.
Technology improvements include a wireless charging pad. Plus, you get a 9-inch touch screen standard with Nissan Door to Door Navigation, Alexa built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay, and a Bose premium audio system. Optional technology includes a head-up display that projects critical driving data to the windshield in front of you.
2023 Nissan Rogue Midnight Edition
The Rogue Midnight Edition slots between the SV and SL trims. You’ll find all the same features of the SV, but the Midnight Edition offers exclusive style inside and out. TailorFit leatherette seats in trim-exclusive Charcoal come standard and with heating functionality. You also get the heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a dual panoramic moonroof.
2023 Nissan Rogue Powertrain
Every Rogue model has a 1.5-liter inline three-cylinder variable compression turbocharged engine with dual overhead cams and 12 valves with continuously variable valve timing and direct injection technology. Nissan pairs this engine with its Xtronic continuously variable transmission with paddle shifters. As a result, this powertrain produces 201 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque.
Nissan offers the Rogue with a capable front-wheel-drive platform standard. You can opt for all-wheel drive on any model for better traction and control over various road surfaces and weather conditions.
2023 Nissan Rogue Driver-Assist Technology
Nissan equips every Rogue with a suite of driver-assist systems. These systems use a combination of radar and cameras to monitor your Rogue in traffic. In certain situations, these systems can engage emergency brake support and steering correction to help you avoid a possible crash.
